My name is Mariah Boersma and I live in the small town of Escalon, CA with my husband Darren and our two Golden Retriever pups, Ruger and Daisy! My husband is an Almond Farmer, working for the family farm — and for myself, well, I am a private photo editor, photo album designer and bridal consultant for a local bridal boutique!

Darren and I are obsessed with our dogs — they really are like our children! We love to play golf and tennis in our spare time, as well as going to the lake, spending time up in the mountains, traveling, concerts, you name it! We love spending time with family, friends, and honestly anyone who is up for a big bowl of ice-cream or a friendly game of cards!

Now, you might be wondering how I got into photo editing and album designing, well, here it goes! I graduated with my EMT license after college and soon after working as an EMT, I was forced to find a new passion and career path due to health reasons of my own. While tough and humbling, I am thankful for the growth that I gained and the direction it led me in because in a round-about way, it has led me HERE! I have worked for a few small businesses over the past few years, and in the midst of doing so I have loved creating photo albums as a hobby, for not only myself but for family members and friends on the side, which I LOVED! While this has always been something that I have loved doing, I finally felt the push to start my design business — BUT MAN is it hard to get a business off and running, hence why I held off for a little while. But with some creativity, lots of thought, and much encouragement, Mariah Boersma Design is finally HERE!

In the fall of 2019, I took a photo editing class to get me up to speed on the ins and outs of editing for photographers. I love detail oriented work, computer-based projects, and PHOTOS of course. So, this was a perfect asset to add to my company!

So, let ME help YOU either A) take the stress of editing away or B) take away the stress of putting together those photo albums! I understand how busy life gets and if I can help in a small way ease the stress, I think you’ll be more than happy with your investment! I am very passionate about designing photo albums, and I am a big believer in preserving life’s greatest memories as well as helping all my busy photographer friends free up more of their time!
